Posted on Dec 5, 2017 in Student Showcase | 2 comments

Ms. Bibrich’s Grade 2 class made a video about some of the elements that come from their various cultures. Their class is made up of students from India, Fiji, Afghanistan, Samoa, and Canada. We hope you enjoy their video! (and feel free to share it with family and friends!)

Great job children. I’m not bias but i want to acknowledge our Samoan princess Bibrich who represented our Island of Samoa. Well done sweetie. You did a wonderful presentation. I’m proud of you sweet princess. Alofas and Blessings to you and your class mates. Well done everyone. Thanks to all the teachers and parents for teaching these precious children to love of who they are and their ethnicity. Faafetai lava!!!

    • Love this project and how kids are encouraged to dig deep into their culture and identify with it. Thank you Ms. Bibrich and Mr. Poon. Toese Tusitala Thornton, the drawing depicts a Samoan dancer dancing and another one playing the ukulele. Sounds like you! 😊
