A: Yes 3, they are all grown up now. I have had their pictures on my desk and many students ask me about them. I liked showing their graduation photos.

A: I have worked for the Surrey School District for 18 years.

A: Not very well. I did speak French at times in my job with Tourism BC. I’d love to learn Spanish as I like to go to Mexico on vacation.
Q: What’s the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
A: Once a grade 1 teacher phoned to say there was a rat in her classroom. I ran so fast to save them I fell all the way down the stairs and ended up on crutches. It was an April Fools joke!

Q: Do you have a favourite memory from your time here at T.E. Scott?
A: I have so many happy memories! Ms. Lee reading to students in her office. Mr. Dekerf dressed as a pirate. Mrs. McCuaig’s line dancing. Ms. Ellis soft, calm voice talking to children. I loved hearing the Kindergarten students singing their AbC’s in the bathroom across from the office. I was so sad when they moved downstairs. I love meeting all the new students and their families. I cry every year at the Grade 7 graduation ceremonies. The excitement & enthusiasm of a new teacher coming to our school. The joy & happiness when a staff member has a baby. I cherish every day I have come to work here at T.E. Scott.
Q: What do you love about our school?
A: Everybody!!! The students, staff, PAC parents and families have been so nice to me. Everyone is so kind and caring at T.E. Scott. It really is the best school and I will miss it so much.
