Earth Day

To help celebrate Earth Day, on April 20, the “Waterlutions” and Waste in its Place Student Teams created and led a great Assembly where they shared many ways that we can care for our Earth!   Great job students and to Ms. Jickling / Ms. A. Taylor in mentoring and supporting these student Teams!

Dance

Our Grade 6/7 Dance Team (coached by Ms. Luhmann & Ms. McKenzie) and our Kindergarten classes (Ms. Luhmann’s, Ms. McKenzie’s and Ms. Oliver’s) recently showcased their impressive dance talent at the Surrey School’s Dance Festival on the big stage at the Bell Center!   Thank-you coaches and don’t forget to check out our TE Scott Facebook page for the performances!

Badminton, Ultimate … Track & Field

It continues to be a busy and exciting time for extra-curricular athletics at TE Scott:

  • Grade 5/6 Badminton Playday April 24, Coaches: Ms. Parker, Ms. Nagra
  • Grade 7 Badminton Playday May 3, Coaches: Ms. Rupi Gill, Ms. Stone
  • Ultimate Playday May 3, Coaches: Mr. Dann, Ms. A. Taylor, Ms. K. Taylor
  • Track & Field Begins May 1, Coaches: several coaches led my Ms. Carlos

Track & Field is now in full-swing with practices for the many events throughout the week.  Thank-you to the many coaches for providing these extracurricular activities!

Thank you PAC!

Chocolate almonds …. yum! A huge thank-you goes out to our PAC for their many hours of work with organizing our Chocolate Almond fundraiser and to our TE Scott Family for their support.   This fundraiser has been highly successful once again this year!   Funds raised from selling chocolates and many other PAC organized events benefit our students in many ways including field trips, technology and presentations.
