Mini Kindergarten and Grade 1 Concert … Pure FUN!
Our Kindergarten and grade 1 children entertained their families and friends at our Mini Concert Wednesday afternoon. They performed in front of a packed gym with the family paparazzi filming and taking pictures throughout the show. Next up: Basketball… Our Intramural Basketball league has been in full swing for the last few weeks. Students have been playing on student created teams. Our coaches organized a fun filled Round Robin Tournament for Recess and Lunch. In January, our Surrey Elementary Basketball league begins … Stay tuned for further information on how to sign up.
PALS… a program for 3 and 4 year old children
Do you have a 3 or 4 year old child? Does your neighbour have pre school aged children? This program is for pre-school aged children and their parents/caregivers. These 5 sessions include: take home materials, snacks for children and adults and a time to have fun and connect with other parents and families. This program is based on valuing families and enhancing their strengths. There is no cost for these sessions and take home materials.

We would like to see you all here for all of the sessions. All sessions will take place on Tuesdays in our Library from 1:00 – 2:15pm.

September Kindergarten Kids!
It’s almost time to register for Kindergarten…
Registration for children who will be 5 years of age during 2017 will begin on Monday, January 16. Registrations will only be accepted for students who live in catchment. Out of catchment students will be put on a wait list and must be registered at their local school. If you have a child who is eligible to begin Kindergarten in September, please be sure that you register As Soon As Possible to guarantee your child’s placement. Also, if you know of neighbourhood children who qualify for registration, please pass on this message to their parents. Please bring the original birth certificate, care card, proof of address and guardianship. If possible, please bring immunization records for your child. We also require birth certificate, passport, or immigration papers of the parents of the child that is registering. Photocopies will be taken and the originals returned to you.
