Looking Back…

Last week was a busy one starting with celebrating Halloween with our annual Parade.  Our students and staff looked great in their costumes.  We definitely felt safe as we had so many Super Heroes in attendance last Monday! Please check out our Facebook page for photos…

Bump, volley, spike , score… our Volleyball Teams have started their season. Thank you to all of our coaches for giving our athletes this opportunity.

Field trips ….

Our Kindergarten and Grade 7 classes have already enjoyed out of school activities to enrich their learning experiences:

Kindergarten: Redwood Park – Explore nature and changing of seasons, Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch

Grade 7: Crescent Beach – Team Building and Orienteering, Serpentine Fen – Science Eco systems

Remembrance Day Assembly

Please join us for our Remembrance Day Assembly, Thursday, November 9th beginning at 10:40 am.  Students from a variety of classes will be performing.   We are asking all students to bring in 25 cents as a donation for their poppy this week.  These donations for poppies will be gratefully accepted on behalf of Veterans Affairs Canada.

  • 10 – Non Instructional Day – no school for students
  • 13 – Stat Holiday – schools closed
  • 24 – Hot Lunch
  • 30 – Early Dismissal – 1:30 – Report Writing – no conferences


  • 15 – Hot Lunch
  • 19 – Early Dismissal – 1:30 – Parent Teacher Conferences
  • 20 – Christmas Concert – 2 shows – 1pm and 6pm

Winter Break – December 23 – January 7 – ENJOY!

First Day Back – January 8, 2018  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
