Meet the Teacher/Country Dance
Thank you to all of our parents and students that came out to meet your child’s teacher and take a walk around our school.
So you think you can Country Dance? Absolutely!
Our 3rd Annual TE Scott Country Dance was a huge success – over 350 children and their parents enjoyed the hour of fast paced dancing.
O.K. so… we started off easy with our students teaching their parents a special line dance….Remember “swivel 1, 2, 3, 4, and HOP, hop, hop, hop!” Some were confused at first but by the end of the evening dancers were grape vining with the best of them. During the group dance, the Virginia Reel, everyone looked like pros as they swung their partners and danced the do sa do through the song. The dance floor was full as we all joined in with the famous “Chicken Dance” and “Macarena”.
Thank you to everyone who came out and joined in on this Fun Family Event! Yee Haw!
From our Sports Desk…
Congratulations to our boys Soccer Team! On their play day last week the boys displayed great sportsmanship and according to Coach Dann and Coach Taylor “they were an excellent bunch to coach!” Way to go Boys!
Up next… Volleyball for grade 6 and 7 Boys and Girls!
Pumpkin Patch Welcomes Kindergarten Students…
The wheels on the bus … Our Kindergarten children experienced their first School Bus ride today. The Hazelmere Pumpkin Patch was their destination. Fun was had by all as they learned about how vegetables grow especially pumpkins. Each Kindergarten student chose their own pumpkin to take home.

WE SCARE HUNGER CAMPAIGN… starts Monday!
Our Me to We team will be running a food drive for the Surrey Food Bank. WE are asking our Community to help us SCARE Hunger by donating much needed food items. Starting Monday, October 17, until Thursday, October 27, our Team will be collecting donated food from the classrooms daily. The most needed items include canned goods, baby food, healthy cereal, and pasta and rice. Let’s work together and “Scare Hunger” from our community.
